Art of Concrete Workshop (2-parts)

Concrete is a material associated with building and construction. In this workshop the participants will understand the versatility of concrete and how it can be used to create smaller, decorative home accessories such as bowls, planters and vases. It is also expected of them to use their creativity to plan and design how they would like their end-piece to look like, while taking into consideration the availability of upcycled materials (for the molds) provided.

Part One:

- Introduction to Concrete and discussion on safety. Display samples & images of different work produced from this workshop.

- How to mix your concrete

- How to select your mold based on material available and what you want to create.

- Constant guidance and support will be provided throughout the workshop.

Part Two:

- Intro to what will be done in the session

- Remove set concrete from molds

- Prepare finished concrete item for decoration

- Decorate concrete item

- Constant guidance and support will be provided throughout the workshop.
