Description:
Resin is a modern material used for creating art and decoration. It is popular for its high viscosity, and its ability to be applied over different surfaces and mixed with different materials. In this class you will be introduced to Resin Art and the fundamental techniques of painting with Resin to create an artwork that you will take home.
Outline:
- Introduction to Resin Art.
- Demonstration and discussion of mixing ratios with paint, using resin as coating and sealing.
- Participants will make their own art piece and will be advised on how to apply mixed media materials (crystal, shells, etc.)
- Each participants will create their piece on an MDF tray and coasters.
