About The Workshop

Participants will learn the Japanese art of paper folding and will create a framed composition of animals and objects from paper, using different types of folds and bases. Students will take their creations home.

This art has many benefits for children. It encourages self-expression, improves their fine motor skills, and most importantly, increases their concentration!

+ Fractions – Origami demonstrates the fractions in a tactile way and also the concept of infinity is taught.

+ Problem Solving – Origami provides children an opportunity to solve something that isn’t prescribed and gives them a chance to make friends with failure.

+ Patience – Practicing Origami will surely improve a child’s patience and improve his critical thinking.
