Potpourri comes from the French word“pot-pourri”,is a mixture of dried, naturally fragrantplantmaterials, used to provide a gentle scent. It can be a mixture of dried petals and spicesplaced in a bowl to perfume a room.In this session, participants will be learning how to properly mix and create their very ownpersonalized potpourri with the scent of their own choice of essential oils.
Workshop Outline:
- Participants will be taught how to dry various flowers and fruits at home to use for theirpotpourri.
- Introduction to the needed materials and tools.
- Demonstration on how to start making your own potpourri in a jar, with participants creatingtheir own potpourri jar mixed with essential oil.
- Care instructions will be discussed by the end of the session on how to optimize the use of theirpotpourri.
